If only this offering could talk…. A truly one-of-a-kind, Hall of Fame worthy offering, this hardwood served as the literal foundation for arguably the greatest dynasty in professional sports, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson’s Chicago Bulls. These two contiguous 4’x’8 pieces of hardwood floor made up for 16 feet of frontage directly in front of the Chicago Bulls bench, as Phil Jackson stood directly on these panels to lead the team to 3 consecutive Championships. Photomatched by MeiGray and accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from the Bulls. The historical significance and rarity of these artifacts make this one of the most significant Chicago Bulls offerings to have ever been made publicly available.

The Chicago Bulls saw their greatest success during the 1990s when they played a major part in popularizing the NBA worldwide. During one of the NBA’s greatest dynasties, the Bulls won six NBA championships between 1991 and 1998 with two three-peats. All six of their championship teams were led by Hall of Famers Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and coach Phil Jackson. The Bulls are the only NBA franchise to win multiple championships while never losing an NBA Finals series in their history. The Bulls won 72 games during the 1995–96 season, setting an NBA record that stood until the Golden State Warriors won 73 games during the 2015–16 season. The Bulls were the first team in NBA history to win 70 games or more in a single season, and the only NBA franchise to do so until the 2015–16 Warriors.

These two 4 ft x8 ft pieces of hardwood floor were used at the United Center from 1995-1998 for all Chicago Bulls home games. These two panels were located directly in front of the Chicago Bulls Bench. The offering makes up for 16 feet of consecutive frontage along the Chicago Bulls Bench.
The NBA’s most famous team introduction in history was led by Bulls PA Ray Clay, with the legendary song Sirius by Alan Parsons Project blasting through the arena, followed by Clay’s iconic “…and from North Carolina…”. It was directly on these pieces of floor that Michael Jordan would make his legendary entrance to the court.
The floor pieces are each labeled (B-4 and B-5) and were used in every home game (approximately 160 games) at the United Center from the start of the historic 72-10 1995-96 Season through Game 5 of the 1998 NBA Finals.
The Chicago Bulls won two NBA Championships on this floor at the United Center, 1996 and 1997 and played in 3 consecutive NBA Finals while this court was in use.
The pieces are accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from the Chicago Bulls.
The floor has been photomatched by the official authenticator of the NBA, MeiGray. It is the only Chicago Bulls Hardwood floor to have ever been photomatched by MeiGray.
4 panels (4 ft x 8 ft) used in only 1 game - Kobe Bryant’s Farewell Game - was funded by another fractional platform for $800,000.
A substantial portion of the court has been cut up by Upper Deck, or used for other promotional use, making these full panels in their original condition one of the few contiguous sets that exist.
